Barbara coordinates the activities for three graduate programs in the Council of the Humanities. She directly supports the day-to-day operations of the Program in the Ancient World, Interdisciplinary Doctoral Program in the Humanities and Renaissance Studies.
She works closely with the directors to plan and execute public lectures, seminars, graduate meetings, research funding support, and group trips. In addition, she updates and maintains program websites and email lists and is responsible for program budgets and all financial transactions.
When not at work, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities from gardening to whitewater rafting.
